About Shoreline

Shoreline started with a love of classic Land Rovers and a clear idea of how a custom Defender build should actually feel. Considered. Transparent. Personal. We wanted to build the kind of Defenders we would want to own, with the kind of experience we would want to go through to own them.

We are a custom automotive studio based in the U.K. and Miami, Florida, specializing in classic Land Rover Defender restorations and Series Land Rover builds for clients across the United States and beyond. Every build starts as an original Defender 90 or Defender 110 donor, sourced from Europe or the U.S. and stripped to the bare chassis. From there, we rebuild it the way it should have been made. Better brakes. Better comfort. A refined Defender interior that reflects how you live. The soul stays intact.

Every restored Defender we build is one of four editions. Heritage, Beach, Villain, or Modern. Each is a clear starting point, designed to be tailored from there. The framework gives every build structure and consistency. The customization makes it yours.

The experience is built to match the standard of the car. Every Shoreline customer gets access to our online portal, where the build is tracked stage by stage with weekly updates. This portal provides a dedicated space to approve specifications, ask questions, and stay involved as the work progresses. When the Defender is finished, it is hand-delivered to your location anywhere in the United States with a face-to-face handover, a one-year warranty, and a trusted local service provider for maintenance and support beyond.

These are not vehicles for everyone. They are for people who still believe the best things in life take time. Who want something that connects them to a way of building, and a way of living, that the modern world forgot. A reminder that some things were built better when they were built slower, with real hands and real care.

Every Shoreline build comes with access to our online customer portal, where you can follow the progress of your Defender from donor to delivery. Weekly updates, stage-by-stage tracking, and a dedicated space to approve materials and specifications, ask questions, and stay involved in the build as it comes together.

Delivery Is
Not The End

Every Shoreline is hand-delivered to the customer's location anywhere in the United States, with a face-to-face handover that walks you through the build feature by feature. From there, every Defender is covered by a one-year Shoreline warranty, and we connect you with a trusted local service provider for maintenance and ongoing support. The warranty ends at one year. Our commitment to the car, and to you, does not.
